Blueberry Banana Smoothie Bowl

Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan

Nothing says summer like freshly picked, local berries; fresh, flavourful and perfect for smoothie bowls!

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana

  • 2-3 handfuls of Spinach (I always pack the spinach in there!!)

  • 1-2 large Tbsp of Avocado 

  • 1 handful of fresh Parsley

  • 1 Tbsp of Ground Chia Seeds

  • 1 heaping Tablespoon of Vanilla Protein (I use Vega Vanilla Protein & Greens)

  • ½ Cup of Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew or Almond Milk

  • 2-3 ice cubes

 Toppings

  • Fresh blueberries (approx. 1/2 cup)

  • 1 Tbsp shredded coconut

  • 2 Tbsp chopped cashews

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to high speed blender. Blend until smooth. Using a spatula, scoop into a bowl, add toppings and enjoy!
